Cream cardstock with gold design and brown lettering. The menu features cream of asparagus soup, baked whitefish aux gratien, boiled sugar cured ham with spinach, roast prime beef, roast saddle of spring lamb, roast turkey stuffed, calves' sweet breaded, spring chicken braised with mushroom sauce and charlotte of pears , frozen egg nog, lobster or chicken salad, rhubarb or raspberry pie, citron pudding, vanilla ice cream, strawberry shortcake, and assorted other items. The back cover of the menu mentions that John Christie is the proprietor of the hotel, and that the menu was for Sunday, May 9, 1897. |
