spiral bound collection of copies of clippings related to several former Civilian Conservation Corps camps that were used as Prisoner of War Camps for German prisoners during the Second World War. Many were written by John Pepin. Five camps are listed: AuTrain, SIdnaw, Evelyn, Wetmore; Pori, and Raco. These housed over 1,000 prisoners at one point. Mention is also made for a Conscientious Objector Camp at Germfask. Some photographs. |
