Description |
Group of C&NW Boilermakers with a miniature boiler, an exact counterpart of a full sized locomotive boiler, built by Thorston Johnson during his noon hours of the year 1912-1913. The builder is seated directly behind the boiler, age at the time was 20. The boiler took 1st prize in the parade according to I.V. English, or the Daily Mirror newspaper. Seated are George Dutton, Alfred Peterson, Rudolph Peterson, Thorston Johnson, George Peterson, George Dutton Jr.; standing are John Wolf, William Grosneck, Alfred Van Lister, John Fallman, Al Ray, John Johnson, Andrew Carlson, Joe Vickers, Arthur Sundberg, Albin Peterson. The men are all dressed alike and all have ribbons on their chest |
