Captain Armstrong, three women, and two children, one a toddler stand in the grassy yard nest to the Peninsula Point Lighthouse. This is before the lighthouse building was expanded, when it closely resembled the Sant Point Lighthouse. several outbuildings and a well can be seen in this photo that closely resemble the buildings in other Peninsula Point photos from the Armstrong family. Captain Armstrong's name is stamped on the lower right corner of the beige matte. No date or photographer is listed. On the back is written "Escanaba" although this is not the Sand Point Lighthouse. |
