Description |
Hattie Van Dyke is holding her diploma and wearing her white graduation dress which was trimmed with blue embroidery. She has a large arrangement of roses pinned to the dress and other flowers adorn the table next to her. She wrote that the flowers were lady slippers that had been picked by her uncle Wallace Ten Eyck from the woods. She also lists teachers as Kirk Spoor, principal, F.R. Crabtree, assistant principal. The Board of Education at the time was John Power, President, John Moe, J.F. Oliver, John E. Smith, W.J. Wallace, John Muny, and J.N. Mead. |
