Description |
Conveniently photographed by Robb in front of the Robb Photography Studio on 1st Avenue South, this shows a group of Chicago and Northwestern Railroad employees preparing to march in the 1915 Labor Day parade in Escanaba. Each man is wearing a ribbon identifying him as an employee of the C & NW. The locomotive has a banner advertising the Northern State Fair, which preceded the U.P. State Fair. Also there is a "Cloverland" sign below the number 734 on the engine. Print is framed with a brown cardboard matte and the name "Robb" is embossed in the mat below the photo. |
