"The Board of Equalization and Review consists of five members including the city assessor. Seated are Attorney Harlan Yelland, L.J. Jacobs, chairman, and Charles Gunderson. Standing are Attorney Wheaton Strom and Charles Schmidt, city assessor. Any Escanaba citizen, who feels that his property has not been assessed for the correct value may bring his case before the Board of Equalization and Review. This board is the only compensated board, provision for that |
