Donor's note: "Photos from Erling Arntzen: Rec. by C. Dunathan, May 1965. 'Tin Goose', only airplane ever made in Escanaba. Wings of 1-sixteenth mahogany plywood, fuselage metal on laminated wood circular rings. Made at Wells airport about 1927-28. Art Jacobson designer, directed construction. He is now with Aircraft Div. Ford Motor Co., Willow Run. Workmen were Jacobson, Walter and Erling Arntzen, Alfred Ingebritson, Harold Schrader." |
