A portrait photograph of Alexander Roberts, who served as the sheriff of Delta County from 1901 until 1904. This portrait is printed on a large piece of photo paper and the background has been painted with a rust colored paint. Also painted are his suit coat, tie and white shirt. A small newspaper print of the photo is attached to the back of this large photo with the note "Alexander Roberts My father" and the date "May 2, 1907 Died". This newspaper article is probably from the obituary published at the time of his death. This photograph was probably displayed in an oval frame. |
