Description |
This small leaflet was given out at the dedication of the New Presbyterian Church in Escanaba, Michigan on Sunday, December 3, 1890. The front indicates the address of the church as the corner of Wells Avenue and Georgia Street. (1st Avenue South and 9th Street today). Reverend James Todd was the pastor. Members of the building committee are listed on the back and include Reverend Todd, M.K. Bissell, A. J. Hughitt, Ed. Erickson, John Lehr, D.W. Morgan, Mrs. O. Erickson, and Mrs. C.H. Long. Elders were: A.J. Hughitt, D. W. Morgan, John Lehr, C. A. Cram, H.H. Allyn, and Fred C. Comstock. Trustees: Dr. C.H. Long, Chairman M.K. Bissell, Ed. Erickson, C. M. Thatcher, John M. Millar, and W. R. Reid. The Ladies' aid Society: Mrs. C. H. Long, Mrs. H. Lucas, Mrs. O. Erickson, Mrs. H.H. Allyn, and Mrs. J. N. Mead. Missionary Society: Mrs. L. Cates, Mrs. C. A. Cram. and Ushers: J.M.
