Description |
Men's Wooden Outdoor Shoes worn only outside to keep out of the mud. Black leather is attached onto the wooden base with a wire to form the outside shape of the shoe. A leather strap also goes over the top of the face of the shoe through an opening in the leather. The inside soles are completely made of wood. These belonged to Peter and Christina Honberg who were Danish immigrants arriving in Stonington in the 1880s from Alms, Denmark. |
