Women's Wooden Outdoor Shoes worn only outside to keep out of the mud. Shoes are all wooden and have a metal piece over the face that wraps around underneath and nailed to the sole of the shoe. The inside soles are completely made of wood and the outside appears to be painted black. Belonged to Christina Honberg who arrived in Stonington in the 1880s from Alms, Denmark. |
