Description |
Invented by Isaac Poole and manufactured in Escanaba in 1891. Small wooden box containing sets of curved and straight blocks (small in size) that can form letters of the alphabet when assembled in different constructions. There is also a small manual that came with the set giving instructions on how to put letters together, with an accompanying set of rhymes written by the inventor, Isaac A. Poole, a discourse by Mr. Poole on the alphabet, and press notices about the manufacture and sale of this product. Price in 1891 was 60 cents. |
